The full form UPTET is the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test which is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Examination Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).
UPTET is a state-level exam conducted once a year that enables candidates to gain eligibility for Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh.
