Exam Pattern

The post of Scale I, II and III Officers in any Regional Rural Bank across the country are filled through IBPS RRB Officer Grade Exam.

Interested candidates who desire to work as RRB Officers (Scale I, II & III) need to clear the IBPS RRB exam. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, popularly known as IBPS, organises an online test for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks for various posts. While IBPS administers the exam, the recruitment interviews are done by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the assistance of the Institute and NABARD.

The examination is conducted in three different phases:

  1. preliminary exam
  2. mains exam and
  3. interview process
Candidates are required to clear all the three rounds in order to get selected for the post of Officer in Regional Rural Banks.
