Eligibility
COMEDK Eligibility Criteria

- For admission to B.E./B.Tech courses, the qualifying examination stipulated is the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination recognized by the State/Central Government. The last two years of study should include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- General Merit candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with individual passing grades in each subject. Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects, and candidates can choose Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics as an optional subject. Any alterations in the eligibility criteria by AICTE/VTU will be adhered to.
- Participation in the COMEDK Entrance Test is sufficient for General Merit candidates to be considered for inclusion in the rank list.
- Diploma holders are ineligible to take the Entrance Test, as lateral entry admissions are not available.
