Solution:
Stomata are tiny pores on the leaf surface, and their opening and closing are controlled by guard cells. When water enters the guard cells, they become turgid (swollen). This causes the stomatal pore to open. When water leaves the guard cells, they become flaccid and the stomata close. So, the opening of stomata is regulated by the entry of water into guard cells.
