If |x+1x−1x−3x+2| = |4−113|, then write the value of x.
Solution:  
|x+1x−1x−3x+2| = |4−113|
⇒ (x + 1) (x + 2) - (x - 1) (x - 3) = 12 + 1
⇒ x2 + 3x + 2 - x2 + 4x - 3 = 13
⇒ 7x - 1 = 13
⇒ 7x = 14
⇒ x = 2
