The refractive index of glass with respect to air is 1.5. What is the value of the refractive index of air with respect to glass?
Solution:  
  aμg=1gμa\; {}_a\mu_g = \frac{1}{{}_g\mu_a}
  gμa=1aμg=11.5=1015\; {}_g\mu_a = \frac{1}{{}_a\mu_g} = \frac{1}{1.5} = \frac{10}{15}
  gμa=23=0.667\; {}_g\mu_a = \frac{2}{3} = 0.667
