Question : 55 of 78
Marks: +1, -0
the distance between the observer on the ship and the person on the shore.
Solution:
The time taken by sound to travel from observer on the ship to the person on the shore =2=2 seconds.
Speed of sound in air =320m/s=320 \text{m} / \text{s}
∵    \because \;\; Distance == Speed ×\times time
∵\because Distance between the observer on the ship and the person on the shore
  =320×2\;=320 \times 2
  =640m\;=640 \text{m}
