The coordinates of BB .
Solution:
Let the coordinate of BB be (x,y)(x, y) .
Given CC is the mid-point of ABA B .
Therefore
−2=3+x2 and 5=−7+y2-2 = \frac{3+x}{2} \text{ and } 5 = \frac{-7+y}{2}
⇒3+x=−4 and 10=−7+y\Rightarrow 3+x=-4 \text{ and } 10=-7+y
⇒x=−4−3 and y=17\Rightarrow x=-4-3 \text{ and } y=17
⇒x=−7\Rightarrow x=-7
Hence, the co-ordinate of B(−7,17)B(-7,17) .
