Find the value of xx, which satisfy the inequation −2  56<  12−  2x3≤2,x∈W-2 \;\frac{5}{6} < \;\frac{1}{2} - \;\frac{2x}{3} \le 2, x \in W. Graph the solution set on the number line.
Solution:  
Given: −2  56<  12−  2x3≤2-2 \;\frac{5}{6} < \;\frac{1}{2} - \;\frac{2x}{3} \le 2
⇒    −176<3−4x6≤2\Rightarrow \;\; -\frac{17}{6} < \frac{3-4x}{6} \le 2
Multiplying throughout by 6
  −17<3−4x≤12\; -17 < 3 - 4x \le 12
  −17<3−4x   and   3−4x≤12\; -17 < 3-4x \;\text{ and }\; 3-4x \le 12
  ⇒    4x<3+17   and   3−12≤4x\; \Rightarrow \;\; 4x < 3+17 \;\text{ and }\; 3-12 \le 4x
  ⇒    4x<20   and   −9≤4x\; \Rightarrow \;\; 4x < 20 \;\text{ and }\; -9 \le 4x
  ⇒    x<5   and   −94<x\; \Rightarrow \;\; x < 5 \;\text{ and }\; -\frac{9}{4} < x
  {5>x≥−94}\; \{5 > x \ge \frac{-9}{4}\}
Hence, the solution set is
{x:x∈W,−94≤x<5}\{x: x \in W, -\frac{9}{4} \le x < 5\}
∴\therefore Values of xx are {0,1,2,3,4}\{0,1,2,3,4\}
