the radius of the sphere.
Solution:
     Let the radius of sphere   =r  cm\;\; \text{ Let the radius of sphere } \; = r \; \text{cm}
     Surface area of sphere   =4πr2\;\; \text{ Surface area of sphere } \; = 4 \pi r^2
  =2464  cm2   (given)   \; = 2464 \; \text{cm}^2 \; \text{ (given) } \;
      r2=24644π\; \Rightarrow \;\; r^2 = \frac{2464}{4\pi}
  r2=2464×74×22=196\; r^2 = \frac{2464 \times 7}{4 \times 22} = 196
  r=14  cm.\; r = 14 \; \text{cm} .
