and

T R = 6\,\text{cm}

Solution:

In similar triangles

\triangle TPS

and TRQ

\;\; \frac{T P}{T R} = \; \frac{P S}{R Q}

\;\; \frac{18}{6} = \; \frac{P S}{4}

\; PS = \; \frac{72}{6}

\;\; = 12\,\text{cm}.
