Question : 65 of 72
Marks: +1, -0
x4x^4 (5 sin x – 3 cos x)
Solution:
Let f (x) = x4x^4 (5 sin x – 3 cos x) ... (i)
Differentiating (i) with respect to x, we get
ddx\frac{d}{dx} [f (x)] = (x4)(x^4)' [5 sin x − 3 cos x] + x4x^4 [5 sin x − 3 cos x]′
= 4x34x^3 [5 sin x – 3 cos x] + x64x64 [5 cos x + 3 sin x]
= 20 x3x^3 sin x – 12x312x^3 cos x + 5x45x^4 cos x + 3x43x^4 sinx
= x3x^3 sin x (20 + 3x) + x3x^3 cos x (5x – 12)
