Question : 6 of 37
Marks: +1, -0
In an experiment on photoelectric effect, the slope of the cut-off voltage versus frequency of incident light is found to be 4.12 × 10−1510^{-15} V s. Calculate the value of Planck’s constant.
Solution:
Given, slope of graph = 4.12 × 10–15 V s
slope = he\frac{h}{e}
4.12 × 10−1510^{-15} = h1.6×10−19\frac{h}{1.6 \times 10^{-19}} or h = 6.592 × 10−3410^{-34} J s
