Explain the irony at the end of the poem, 'Aunt Jennifer's Tigers'.
Solution:
The irony at the end of the poem, 'Aunt Jennifer's tigers' is that the tigers were different from her completely. Even after death, Aunt Jennifer would remain weak, meek and scared. She would be bonded in the ties of matrimony but the tigers she made would remain strong, fearless and confident. They would pace and prance freely.
