The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is responsible for formulating syllabus, curriculum and other academic related policies for both the SSC and HSC exams.
The Maharashtra State HSC Board is responsible for conducting the Higher Secondary Examinations for the students who have successfully cleared their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam.
The students enrolled in the Maharashtra HSC Board will have to write the MSBSHSE HSC or MSBSHSE Class 12. The HSC Maharashtra conducts the exam for streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, and Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) streams.
