On 23rd April 2022 there was a press release of the book, 'Life in a Boarding School' by a few students of the senior wing of Nav Vihar Public School. Smita Das, a renowned writer was invited as the chief guest to release the book in the presence of a gathering of 100 students of the senior secondary section. Michael, one of the authors read the main objectives of the book. He elaborated the life of a boarder from the day of the entry till the end. The difficulties in getting admission, the rigours of boarding life, the bullying factor and the loneliness being away from the family members all were discussed in the book reading session which was organised by the school. The book reading was followed by questions raised by the listeners. The author of the book had staged a play depicting the boarding life which was appreciated by all. The interactive session ended with a vote of thanks by Ruby - one of the team members of the authors.
