According to Keats the things which are beautiful always give joy to us. The loveliness of these beautiful things never diminish rather it goes on increasing. Despite being victims of despondence, sadness and gloom these things of beauty lift the gloomy cover from our darkened spirits and give us a sleep full of sweet dreams, health and a balanced breathing. According to the poet these beautiful things are the sun, the moon, the young and old trees which give shelter to men and animals, the daffodils, the green vegetation and the clear streams of water that give coolness in the middle of hot season. These things of beauty give us hope and fill us with joy in this mundane world.
