Pollution Awareness Drive
By: Bela/Bharat
To raise awareness of this critical issue, our school organised a Pollution Awareness Drive, which was a huge success. During the drive, students made presentations on the factors contributing to pollution and their solutions. The presentations highlighted several polluting factors such as vehicular emissions, depletion of green cover, construction of high-rise buildings, open sewage, poor drainage systems, and industrial emissions. The students explained how these factors contribute to pollution and its adverse effects on our health and the environment.
In addition to identifying the factors causing pollution, the students also presented solutions. They emphasized the importance of individual efforts and responsible behaviour to control pollution. The role of the government in implementing measures to reduce pollution was also highlighted. The students also discussed the crucial role of the media in creating awareness and promoting sustainable practices.
In conclusion, the Pollution Awareness Drive was an eye-opener for all of us, and we must take collective responsibility to address this issue.
