Solution:
24 February, 20XX
Dear Diary,
I was able to uphold the oath that I had taken as a doctor. It is my duty to save the lives of the people irrespective of their nationality. I was in a state of intense conflict when Tom, the prisoner of war, was found wounded. Handing him over to the police would have meant throwing him into the jaws of death. Ultimately, the duty of a doctor overpowered the narrow restrains of war and hatred.
My servants revolted at the idea of serving a white man. My wife, Hana herself washed the wound and I decided to operate on Tom. I knew the risk of harbouring an enemy but didn't shirk from my sacred duty of saving a dying man.
Finally, when he was out of danger, I told him to escape from house and felt relieved.
