Three components of a political party are as follows :
(i) The leaders : A political party consists of leaders, who contest elections; and if they win them, they perform the administrative job.
(ii) The active members: They are the ones, who climb the ladder from being a follower to becoming an assistant of the leader to gain knowledge about politics.
(iii) The followers : They are simply ardent followers of the leaders and work under the able guidance of the active members.
