(i) Premature evaluation: It means deriving conclusions before complexion of message. He/she may jump to conclusions without logical deduction from the situation.
(ii) Lack of attention: It means when receiver does not pay complete attention to the message as a result communication becomes ineffective. The reason can be preoccupied mind of the receiver.
(iii) Loss by transmission and poor retention: When communication passes through various levels, this results in filtering or loss of information. This is known as loss of transmission and mostly occurs in cases of verbal communication.
(iv) Distrust: Due to lack of trust between communicator and receiver also acts a barrier to effective communication. They may not understand each other's message in the original sense.
