Given, R=40ΩR=40 \Omega and I=0.8 AI=0.8\,\text{A}
t=1t=1 minute =60 s=60\,\text{s}
Heat produced =H=I2Rt=H=I^2 R t
  Or,    H=(0.8)2×40×60\;\text{Or,}\;\;H=(0.8)^2 \times 40 \times 60
∴  H=1536  Joule  \therefore \;H=1536 \;\text{Joule}\;
