Solution:  
Ferrous sulphate solution with sodium hydroxide solution gives a dirty green ppt of ferrous hydroxide Fe(OH)2\mathrm{Fe}(\mathrm{OH})_2 which is insuiuble in exess.
Whereas Ferric sulphate solution with sodium hydroxide solution gives a raddish brown precipitate of ferric hydroxide Fe(OH)3\mathrm{Fe}(\mathrm{OH})_3 .
