Dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute sulphuric acid. (using lead nitrate solution)
Solution:  
Dil. HCl\mathrm{HCl} with Pb(NO3)2\mathrm{Pb}(\mathrm{NO}_3)_2 gives an insoluble white ppt of PbCl2\mathrm{PbCl}_2 (Lead II chloride) which is soluble in hot water. Whereas dil H2SO4\mathrm{H}_2\mathrm{SO}_4 with Pb(NO3)2\mathrm{Pb}(\mathrm{NO}_3)_2, it forms a white insoluble ppt of PbSO4\mathrm{PbSO}_4 .
