Question : 21
Total: 70
Calculate the equivalent resistance between the points A and B for the following combination of resistors :
Solution:
Let 4,4 and 4 are in series.

R1=4+4+4=12.
Now 2,2 and 2 are in series.

R2=2+2+2=6

Now R1=12,R2=6 and 4 are in parallel.

R3=2
Now resistance between A and B,5,2 and 6 are in series.

Resistance between A and B, R=5+2+6 =13
Hence, Equivalent resistance between A and B=13
