Mention one cause for the above defect.
Solution:
Concave lens has been used for correction. Cause for the defect myopia is that the eye ball is for long from front to back due to which image is formed before the retina/in front of the retina. Another cause is that the lens is too curved/convex,due to which the light rays from the object converges before it reaches the retina.
