Two sources of public revenue are :
(a) Tax Revenue : Revenue earned by the government by imposing tax on general public.
Example : income tax, excise and customs duties, license fee, fines and penalties etc.
(b) Non-Tax Revenue : Revenue earned by the government from other than the tax source.
Example: loans raised to be repaid.
