Solution:  
We have , lim⁡x→−1x10+x5+1x−1\lim\limits_{x\to -1}\frac{x^{10}+x^5+1}{x-1} = (−1)10+(−1)5+1−1−1\frac{(-1)^{10}+(-1)^5+1}{-1-1} = 1−1+1−2\frac{1-1+1}{-2} = −12-\frac{1}{2}.
