Uppe’s loop is non-medicated IUCD. CuT and Multi load are copper releasing IUCDs, which suppress motility and fertilizing capacity of sperms. Progestasert is a hormone releasing IUCD which makes the uterus unsuitable for implantation and cervix hostile to the sperms.
