As a resuch all the ice is inelted but the temperature remains at 0°C what would be final temeprature of the system if the mass of block were twice as great (i.e. 2000gm)

In the first case mL = Ms Δt
⇒ 300 × 80 = 1000 × 5 × 240
⇒ s = 0.1 cal/gm
In the second case,
2000 × 0.1 × (240 - θ) = (300 × 80) + (800 × 1 × θ )
⇒ θ = 24° C
