Enzyme has to diffuse towards the substrate for binding.
Binding of the enzyme to the substrate causes, the substrate to alter its shape as per the shape of active sites in enzyme.
The binding of the substrate induces the enzyme to alter its shape and there by substrate fitting more tightly around the enzyme
Binding of substrate with the enzyme causes physical change in the enzyme but enzyme molecule bring about a chemical change in the substrate.
