These questions are based on the following pie chart which gives break -up of students of different disciplines in a university.

TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS = 2160

Question : 61 of 100

Marks: +1, -0

Solution:

Logic’s share = 40o of total

Now, 5% of 40° = 2°

Literature’s share becomes 60 + 2 = 62°

Again, 50% of 62° = 31°

Business = 60 + 31 = 91°

Thus, percentage of students in Business =

\frac{91}{360} \times 100

= 25.2 %
