IBPS SO Prelims Exam Model Paper 4

Eight friends: Rohan, Raju, Meena, Toni, Hemant, Kajal, Divya, and Roshan;
Four months: January, February, March, and April.
Two dates: 12th and 17th
1) Meena visits in the month which is less than 31 days, but not on add numbered date. It means Meena goes on an even-numbered date. Now she can go in two months, either in Feb or in April, because she visits in an even-numbered month. so we have to continue with two cases.2) Kajal goes on an odd-numbered date and in the month having 31 days. Here two conditions are applicable for Kajal also, because she can go in either Jan or March which have 31 days.3) Kajal and Hemant visit in the same month.4) Divya goes on an even-numbered date and only one student goes to the park after her. It means Divya goes in April and the even-numbered date means 12th April. Now if Divya goes on 12th April then Meena goes on 12th Feb, so the case for Meena is canceled here.5) Toni does not go either in the month in which Divya or Roshan go or in the month having days more than 30. Here we can put Toni only with Meena, so Toni goes on 17th Feb.6) Roshan goes on an odd-numbered date and in the month which has even-numbered days Roshan and Toni both visit on the same date and even-numbered month. Now if Toni goes on 17th then Roshan also goes on 17th, and Toni goes in Feb so Roshan. 7) Raju and Hemant visit the park on different dates, and Raju and Roshan visit on the same date of different months. Raju never visits on an even-numbered date. Now combining these sentences we find that Raju goes on date 17th and he visits in Jan because on April 17th Roshan is going to visit. Now Case for Kajal on 17th Jan has canceled here similarly the case for Hemant on 12th Jan also canceled, as they visit in the same month. The number of persons before Hemant is more than the number of persons after him.8) Rohan and Hemant visits on the same date of Different months.Now we have the final arrangement;Hence, Toni visits in the same months along with Meena.
