Sohrai is the biggest festival of Santhal tribe. This festival pays tribute to the animals which is celebrated in Amavasya of the Kartik month. This festival is celebrated for five days in which the young men and women worship cows. On the fifth day, a feast is organized from the collections of rice, dal, salt, spices from the villagers.
