(1) CAMPA stands for Compensatory Af forestation Fund Management and Planning Authority. Notif ied by the Jharkhand government in October 2009, it is intended as an instrument to accelerate activities for preservation of natural forests, management of wildlife, infrastructure development in the sector and other allied works.
