Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J. P. Nadda launched the first National Dc- worming Day in Jaipur on 10 February 2015. As per the World Health Organisation 241 million - 68 per cent - children between the ages of 1 -14 years are at risk of parasitic intestinal worm infections.
