Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) and Maharashtra Maritime Board (MM(2), on behalf of the Government of Maharashtra, in June 2015, entered into a MoU to develop a new major port of close to Rs 6,000 crorc in Dahanu taluka, off Vadhavan Point in Maharashtra.
