Raghuram Rajan is the Governor of Reserve Bank of India. In 2015 he was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the bank of international settlement. BIS is the world’s oldest international financial organisation established on 1930. Its head office is in Basel, Switzerland. It fosters international monetary and financial cooperation and serves as a bank for Central Banks.
