(D) The credit for organising education on a systematic basis goes to Akbar (1542–1605), a contemporary of Queen Elizabeth I of England and, undoubtedly, the greatest of Mughal Emperors. He also introduced a few curricular changes, based on the students’ individual needs and the practical necessities of life.The scope of the curriculum was so widened as to enable every student to receive education according to his religion and views of life.
