Let the age of two new men be

x_1

and

years and initially average age of 8 men be x years, then

\frac{8x-(21+23)+x_1+x_2}{8}=x+2

\Rightarrow 8x - 44 + x_1 + x_2 = 8x + 16

\Rightarrow x_1 + x_2 = 60

Hence, the average age of two new men

=\frac{x_1+x_2}{2}=\frac{60}{2}=30\text{years}
