2y^2 + 17y + 33 = 0

Solution:

2x^2+11x+14=0

2x^2+4x+7x+14=0

= 2x(x+2)+7(x+2)=0

=(x+2) (2x+7)=0

=x=

-2 \text{ or } -\frac{7}{2}

II.

2y^2+17y+33=0

2y^2+6y+11y+33=0

=2y(y+3)+11(y+3)=0

y=-\frac{11}{2} \text{ or } -3

clearly ,x>y
