Thodur Madabusi Krishna or T.M. Krishna, a Carnatic music vocalist, writer and author, won 30th Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration for his services in promoting and preserving national integration in the country for the year 2015-16. Smt. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress president, presented him the award on 31st October, 2017 .
