Brihadishvara Temple, also called Rajarajesvaram or Peruvudaiyar Koyil, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It was built by Raja Raja Chola I between 1003 and 1010AD and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is considered as one of the largest temples in India.
