Percentage break-up of girls enrolled in these activities out of the total students.

How many boys are enrolled in Singing and Craft together ?

Solution:

Number of students in singingand craft

= 3000 × (21 + 25)%

= 3000 ×

\frac{46}{10}

= 1380

Number of girls in singing andcraft

= 1750 × (28 + 22)%

= 1750 ×

\frac{50}{100}

= 875

∴ Number of boys enrolled insinging and craft

= 1380 – 875 = 505
