Mesosphere is third layer of the atmosphere. It lies between the ranges of 70−80mathrm~km above the earth surface. It is directly above the stratosphere. In this layer temperature reduces very rapidly with increasing height. At tropopause the temperature falls up to −80 degree Celsius. Meteorites burn up in this layer on entering from the space.
