Solution:

Total student in A

= \frac{1800 \times 20}{100} = 360

Percentage difference of Boys and girls

= \frac{ \frac{360 \times (5-4)}{9} }{360} \times 100

= \frac{1}{9} \times 100 = 11\frac{1}{9}\%

Total Student in C

= \frac{1800 \times 14}{100} = 252

Percentage difference of Boys and Girls

= \frac{ \frac{252 \times 1}{7} }{252} \times 100 = 14\frac{2}{7}\%

Total student in D

= \frac{1800 \times 22}{100} = 396

Percentage difference of Boys and Girls

= \frac{ \frac{396 \times 1}{11} }{396} \times 100 = 8\frac{1}{11}\%

Total student in E

= \frac{1800 \times 10}{100} = 180

Percentage difference of Boys and Girls

= \frac{ \frac{180 \times 1}{5} }{180} \times 100 = 20\%

∴ Lowest percentage difference is D.
