Solution:

The stack is in the form having vertical cross section of trapezium.

∴ Volume of Earth in the stack = Area ofcross section of trapezium × Height

∴ Volume

=\frac{1}{2}\times(10+5)\times2\times8=15\times8\text{m}^2

According to the question,

Volume of Earth to be spread = (Area of field) x Level raised

∴ Level raised

=\frac{15\times8}{100\times80}=\frac{15}{1000}\text{m}

= 1.5 cm
