Because magnetic confinement is the phenomena in which particle and energy of hot plasma are held together by using very strong magnetic field, that confines the movement of deuterium-tritium plasma and prevents them from coming in contact with reactor wall, that may dissipate heat of nuclei and slow down the reaction.
