Reciprocal teaching involves group interaction between teacher and studentsin an instructional activity pertaining to the topic to be learnt. In circular communication, information travels in a cyclic fashion around themain point, each person acting as both sender and receiver and using interpretation. So, learning process is likely to lose direction and go haywire. Directional communication follows an aimed direction and hence restricts free progression of learning outcomes. Influential communication is teacher oriented and restricts the learners’ free thinking.
