Teaching and learning is a process of exchange of knowledge, skills, behaviour and experience. These cannot be considered as objects or goods that can be purchased and sold; or delivered and received. Though teachers are paid to teach and learners pay fees to learn in an institution, the nature and objective of the process of teaching and learning cannot be valued in terms of money. It is indeed invaluable, being instrumental in the evolution of an individual, teacher or taught. The teacher too isa learner. Teaching is social as other(s) is/ are involved, while learning is done by every individual for the self, even if done in group. Teaching requires involvement of the triad—teacher, parent, learner while learning is engaging oneself deep ina subject.
